[18 Apr.] In the context of Heritage and local development project, financed with the European Union, two seminars for municipal technicians will be held in Benin in Ouidah and Porto Novo. Each course will host participants from 25 countries who were the beneficiaries (Benin, Mauritania, Cape Verde, Senegal, Mali). The deadline for submitting applications is May 20, 2012. Learn more.

[18 to 20 Apr.] Mrs Victoire Adégbidi, Coordinator of the Landscapes and Heritage Dept., participates in the Expert Meeting on the Action Plan of the second cycle of the Periodic Report for Africa, organized by the Africa Unit of World Heritage Center at the headquarters of the center. This meeting takes place with the participation of the Coordinator of the Periodic Report for Africa, mentors of the four sub-regions of Africa, representatives of ICOMOS, IUCN, ICCROM, AWHF, the Nordic World Heritage Foundation and CHDA.

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes 50 000 Euros to the EPA Fund

Logo Heydar Aliyev[April 11] EPA is pleased to announce that the First Lady of Azerbaijan, Mrs Merhiban Aliyeva, has made a generous contribution of € 50,000 to the EPA Fund through the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, of which she is the President. The amount raised for the fund has now reached 2,484,204 €.
EPA expresses its deepest gratitude to Mrs Aliyeva and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for this contribution. Read more.
